Turquoise jewellery – the best pieces right now
Turquoise guys – it’s big. Two pieces I’ve written over the last few days have involved glam ladies with hot turquoise statement jewellery.
First off there was Kyra Sedgwick at the Golden Globes with very nifty turquoise earrings (turquoise accessories = definitely the way to go with mustard garms).
And I’ve just finished writing a piece for eBay on the most delightful outfit Alexandra Burke was sporting when she appeared at the launch of Save the Children’s No Child Born to Die campaign.
In the process of writing that there piece mentioned above on Alexandra, I ended up buying myself some mad turquoise pendant with a fairy on it for a fiver. Sometimes, I think I’m losing the plot. I’ll be casting fashion spells next.
If you’d rather go for a safer, less Gothic turquoise statement, may I suggest…
This very appealing star ring at Topshop:
An absolutely stunning vintage piece by FlorenceB; a Victorian sweetheart necklace in 9ct gold with turquoise and seed pearl. It’s on sale for £152 – someone’s got to get in there and nab it before I do:
Charming vintage gem chandelier earrings at Accessorize:
Love this simple turquoise necklace by Helenka White Design – it’s the antique silver flower toggle that makes it extra special:
This lush charm bracelet at Miss Selfridge is just a fiver in the sale! (And there’s a cowboy boot on there – I’m in.):
And at this price, you need to be serious about your bling. But if cocktail rings are your thing, this stunning turquoise and diamond rivulet ring in yellow gold by Robinson Pelham will, frankly, make you orgasm on the spot – and you’ll never regret the £3,630 price tag.
