The pyjama store goes girly

I’ll level with you – I love pyjamas. I treat them with (almost) the same reverence as dresses.

During my twenties I went through a ‘wild’ phase of sleeping naked, but becoming a mum changes things (particularly when you have a breast-obsessed seven-year-old son on the rampage every morning).

So now nightwear is compulsory; I’m not complaining. I use every trip away as an excuse to buy new delights. Some of the nightwear I took to Las Vegas was mistaken for day wear by my other half (I should point out that this does happen the other way around too – particularly with jumpsuits).

I have another exciting trip on the horizon (watch this space, as ever) and as it will involve staying in a mega-posh hotel, on Monday morning I fully intend to scour thepyjamastore.com for funky bedtime apparel.

From Monday, the aforementioned PJ stockist launches a ladies range y’see. Brands will include Eberjey from Miami, Bedhead from LA and Princess TamTam of Paris (pictured).

The site also promises to be easier to navigate and ‘more stylish than ever’ come Monday – cool.

I’m ready to shop; seriously, if my next trip goes ahead I need some stonking sleepwear to make me feel fashionable even when I’m asleep…
