Feast your peepers on Pilot’s AW11/12 collection

I’ve had a li’l treat today. Oh yes, on the eve of the big one (aka London Fashion Week) I managed to get my ass down to SE1 for Pilot’s autumn/winter preview.

You know me – I love a high street buy, and although Pilot is pitched at *slightly* younger ladies than I, I would deffo buy some of the chunky knits, faux fur jackets and grunge-inspired jumper dresses that the brand’s buying director, Angela Tandon, has chosen for the chilly season. Best of all, the pieces retail for next to nothing, and seemed to me to be great quality. I’m deffo a convert.

Feast yo’ eyes on some of the loveliness that grabbed my attention…

Grunge-tastic knitwear: team with bright tights and biker boots
Tribal prints are also ‘go’ for knits
This disco top is soooo Studio 54
Love the colours of this everyday dress
Mad for the chunky buttons too – a nice seventies touch
Along with the covetable clothes, some funky boots
Last year’s shearling trend is back: this long boot is must-have
A cute bag was duly spotted
I had my eye on this faux fur jacket (just £49.99) from the get go…
…and I just had to try it on (avec some styling up from the girls in the shape of a faux fur headband – v cute)
At the end of a lovely preview with Angela Tandon (on the left) and one of my fave PRs, Rebecca Kantrowitz

With thanks to Pilot and The Karen Berman Consultancy.
