Heat generating layers from Marks and Spencer

OK guys, as many of y'all may know already, as well as being a fashionista (pffft!), I'm also a mother. And today I may sound more like one than usual...

HAVE YOU GOT YOUR VESTS ON????

Maybe not. But it is getting parky out there (finally) and I was rather excited to see the delights M&S have got to offer this season - a range of heat generating layers. Wowser.

I always have a birrova fashion crisis when it comes to this time of year because I love wearing girly dresses and little cardis; I don't always want to do a chunky knit. But often when you try to layer with jersey tops, they look too baggy and it ruins the whole look.

That's why my cockles were warmed by this range of heat-generating (again I say it, HEAT GENERATING) vests, polos and long-sleeved tops. All have a snug fit. Hallelujah!

They are perfect for sticking on under dresses and short sleeved shirts etc, so you can still rock your late summer/early autumn frocks, without catching your death (told you I was going to sound more mumsy than usual today).

I bought the black polo (I have a bit of a polo neck fetish) and the striped long-sleeved top (which has a hint of glitz) which I intend to wear under various dresses and tees during the mini ice age that has been predicted by the Daily Express (so it must be true), but there are loads of colours and styles in the range.

There, mum duty done.

Long sleeved top (also available in animal print), £14 from M&S
Sequin lace thermal top, £16 from M&S
