Caggie Dunlop faux fur leopard animal print jacket and turquoise ring

As the series comes to a climax (I'll be coming to a climax an' all if last night's teaser is anything to go by) I thought we should all copy the classic Caggie Dunlop look (leopard print faux fur coat and turquoise ring - which, I have heard on the grapevine, she bought in Thailand) - as seen when Spencer was breaking her heart outside the Chelsea Pensioners' tea party (!) on the November 14th episode of Made in Chelsea.

So, here goes...

New Look, £49.99 (this is the actual jacket, fact fans)
Urban Outfitters, £16
Topshop, £110
ASOS, £6 (sale price - geddin!)

Hi Fashion Detective,

What brand is Victoria's watch from Made in Chelsea? Is it a Rolex? Could you source the model please.

Thanks so much.

Hiya - I haven't got any contacts with Victoria I'm afraid so probs can't help. Would LOVE to answer everyone's questions but I write the blog purely for fun at the moment and have a purdy busy job/life, so please accept my apols if I can't answer every query.

LOVE Caggie's rings, managed to find my own version of the chain-ring combo on eBay from China! If anyone is after Caggie style jewellery, I would defs check out eBay, they have a lot of great stuff on there.

Love the blog, very helpful!
Check mine out sometime www.raspberrygrape.blogspot.com :)

Hi,
I need Caggie's gold cross earrings!!
Were are they from???

Fashion Detective said...

I asked Caggie and Will yesterday but they haven't got back to me yet - they are soooo helpful and v supportive of the blog so I'm not gonna pester them, but they do read the blog too so I'm sure we'll find out sooner or later.

Do remember that lots of Caggie's stuff is from markets and overseas so it's also worth looking for copycat stuff in quirky places (as per Ljay's comment above) if you REALLY want to copy Caggie's style - I can suggest some similar pieces later in the week if that helps.

Thanks for reading everyone! ;o)

Hey! Love the blog! I was wondering if you could find out where caggies brown knitted jumper was from (the one in the November 21st episode), I really want it! Thank you :)

Fashion Detective said...

Do you mean the grey jumper? That was borrowed from her lovely friend and manager Will - and he got it from River Island. Will try and find it online tomoz as I'm on a train at the mo! xx

Hi could you find out where Louise's sequin-collared blouse was from in Monday's episode? Thanks!

Hi, I love your blog!
I was wondering if you know where Caggies coral/orange dress that she wore for the date in Paris is from please?
Thank you xx

Fashion Detective said...

Thank you Hollie!

I know that Caggie borowed that dress from Millie :o) Millie's manager hasn't been in touch for a while, but now the show is over I will send her a gentle message and see if she can shed any light on the matter...

Re: Louise's blouse, I have trouble with L's clothes because she doesn't have a manager (yet) and isn't that responsive to questions about her clothes (boo!) But I will watch the show again this eve and see if I recognise anything she's wearing.

xx

Hollie said...

Thank you Jo- I will keep my fingers crossed that Millie's manager gets in touch!! :) x

Hi,

was wondering if you could ask about Alice (Caggie's cousin) jewelery she was wearing in season 2 episode 7. She had these lovely gold hoop earrings & silver drop earrings and a necklace, really nice, would be awesome to know where they were from?

Thank youu.

I simply ADORE the coat on Caggie especially with that hair, she looks AMAZING!! But unfortunately I couldn't get away with it. I am pretty sure the ring is from Zara Taylor called the Vintage Turquoise Matrix Gold Ring. You look sooooo good Caggie x

Anonymous said...

K everybody, I know loads of people want the turquoise ring and I have found them!! From ZARA TAYLOR called the Vintage Turquoise Matrix Ring you can get it in silver or gold Caggie has both but I think she wears the silver one more. Millie Mackentosh gets lots of jewellery from Zara Taylor aswell x

Fashion Detective said...

I LOVE Zara Taylor - have written about her lots on the blog (latest post: http://www.fashiondetective.co.uk/2012/02/zara-taylor-does-valentines-day.html) and love my Corpse Bride cameo to death :o)

Hi there, please can someone help me to find the earrings Caggie wore in Cannes with that beautiful orange dress which I am still trying to find. Probably a bit too late now. But those gold earrings are there any around very similar or does anyone know where she got hers from? Thanks.
