Spitalfields market, Dolly Dare, Brick Lane, sub zero temperatures

Is it cold out there? Hell yeah. I know because I was out in the East End elements, wearing that coral dress and little else, for over an hour this aft. My tootsies is still numb, not to mention other nether regions.

Fingers crossed I'll be able to bring you lots of behind the scenes pics when the feature is out (blue lips and all) on February 14th, but in the meantime I wanted to drool over Dolly Dare, where I found myself hanging around during the shoot...

I had a Dolly Dare dress years back - a gift from my fella - and still treasure it now. In fact, seeing the sexy shop window at Spitalfields today reminded me just how much.

My old Dolly dress came from Topshop Oxford Circus, but The Spitalfields shop is all kinds of cool.

 

I absolutely, definitely need to go back - when I'm not freezing my bits off and saying cheese - to investigate the pink and black dress in the window, which is covered in subtle sequins and needs to be in my wardrobe. And to lust after all the other dresses too...

And today got me thinking I should check out East London generally. I really don't spend enough time in those parts and it's so gritty and interesting (I know, I know - it's like trying to claim I've discovered the wheel, but I really am an ignoramus when it comes to the East).
