Behind the scenes on the LOOK shoot
The LOOK shoot. Only two weeks ago but already seems like an age. If you haven’t seen my coral-based moment of glory, today is the last day you can buy the issue I’m in, blabbering about this blog, on being a mummy fashionista (oh yes!) and how the blog saved me from a humdrum career writing other people’s sensational stories (“I learned to pole dance for my 50th birthday”, “Noel Edmonds flushed me down a giant toilet”, etc etc).
Being in LOOK was a total pleasure (and has introduced me to some ace new readers) and the shoot was all the more fun because I was on it with fellow blogger, Isabelle O Carroll.
We were also tres lucky to be made-up by the beautiful Krystle Gohel (who has a brill skillz YouTube Channel) and to be snapped by the talented Chris Dodd, who made a very cold experience on the streets of East London pretty enjoyable.
Have a peep…
Krystle works her magic: Bring on the colour pop lips!
Isabelle gave me fringe envy all day
Isabelle looked amazing in a pink jacket with sky blue knit
I went for coral – loved that we were allowed to style ourselves
Chris got us doing some classic model poses – the giggling kept us warm!
Is it minus 5? I hadn’t noticed.
Isabelle is definitely a natural
Chris picked a fab location just off Brick Lane
Has anyone worn coral pleats with pastel green brogues before? I do hope not.
Isabelle strikes a pose in Spitalfields Market
Chris looks nice and cosy warm in that big jacket doesn’t he? Harumph!
My favourite things: Freezing temperatures and pigeons *screams*
One last grin before we get to put our coats back on…
