Enjoying the South London sun: Primark pleated skirt and The County Arms Wandsworth

Yesterday really felt like the first day of spring. Warm sunshine, clear skies and half a cider in a pub beer garden. Bliss.

After promising myself not to do any more Primark shopping hauls (most of the gear I gave away at the last clothes swap was Atmosphere branded), I fell for a £12 bird print pleated midi skirt and had to have it, as well as an emerald green spring cardi (think Jess) and a v cute sheer, beaded pink vest that will fall apart in a matter of months but might look nice over dresses and tops while it lasts.

High on the haul, I scooped E up from school, took him to buy the Beyblade (??) reward he’d been promised for winning a story writing competition (don’t know where he gets that from) and we hit one of our area’s only decent beer gardens.

I tell you, a good pub garden is a rare find in this neck of the woods….

The sun was still shining in the early evening at The County Arms
My first beer garden cider of the year – always an enthusiastically enjoyed beverage
Mr Foo gets his Beyblades together
This, my fashionable friends, is a Beyblade. I’m still baffled.
Not one…
…but two!
Let it rip!
The best bit about this pub is the gorgeous (and v plush) conservatory
You can hire out this little area for parties
I quite like the idea of drinking under the watchful eye of a Buddha
