Afternoon tea with zulily.co.uk at Home House

First off kids, let me apologise for my tardy post today – as well as having a good old chinwag with Michelle from Sister Stylista this morning, I’ve also been trying to get my tired, old head around the new Blogger “interface”. I don’t like change, people. Unless I’m the one who has instigated it.

Anyway, I’ll try to overcome my technophobia and tell you about another launch I went to this week – and this one is for the fashionable mummies out there…

I was invited to the uber-posh Home House to celebrate the UK launch of zulily.co.uk, a website with daily fashion deals for babies, kids and mums
This is a site that you join in order to access daily deals on clothes and accessories – like these funky hats and sunglasses
The clothing on the site is for kids aged 0 to 8
It’s teeny tiny girl shoes like this that could almost make me go “ahhhhhhh” (I did say “almost”)
Ahhh, boys footwear – more my “area of expertise”
It was cool to see the grand surroundings of Home House filled with bikes and balloons (and a few babies)
But this was certainly the perfect place for the quintessential British afternoon tea
Last time I was at Home House it was for an MTV party…this time, tea and scones. That speaks volumes
Lots of sweet treats on the table from zulily.co.uk – and from what I saw on the day, some sweet online deals for mums and their babies too (you need to join the site in order to access the deals on offer)
I didn’t have time to stop for even one scone – gutted
Just imagine one slathered in jam….mmmmm, food porn indeed (I did mean imagine a scone slathered in jam, btw, not “one” as in “me” – ewwwwww)
All in all a lovely launch and should be a nice new concept for fashion-savvy parents to enjoy
