Caggie Dunlop launches fashion line ISWAI (It Starts With An Idea): Farewell Made in Chelsea

I know you guys adore Caggie Dunlop’s style as much as I do, so perhaps you’ll be as excited as I am about today’s official launch of Caggie’s own fashion range ISWAI – It Starts With An Idea

More exciting than most sartorial spin-offs, Caggie’s line is all about community – she handpicked a bunch of emerging design talent (I know she did it, I saw it myself on Twitter) and kicks things off with a limited edition “5ways” range of themed t-shirts; New York, Rebellion, Da Vinci, The Universe and Religion.

The range goes on sale at 7pm this evening, April 18th 2012 – but you’d better get in there quick as there are only 200 per design.

Looks like Caggie had fun modelling the tees

Even more exciting for the hardcore Cag fans (me included!) is a forthcoming range of jewellery which is going to feature the ear cuff we lusted after earlier this week and, most exciting of all, includes a collaboration with my fave vintage-inspired jeweller of all time, Zara Taylor.

There’s also a new range of tees planned, and ideas are being invited, so young designers who dig Caggie’s style should get in touch.

“Rather than attaching my name to a label and have no creative input, I thought I’d give my name to those who can’t get a break, and platform some of the amazing talent that otherwise might go unnoticed,” Caggie says of her venture. “It doesn’t rely on any fashion heavyweights, it’s just about having fun – being creative and expressing yourself.”

Here’s the accompanying vid so you can spy on the designers and have a sneak peek of Caggie’s shoot (to the strains of Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros)…
