Tiger tops, new red wedges and many bracelets at the East Dulwich Tavern
Get me, all smiles, bracelets and shiny cheeks, raising a glass of Chodka (it arrived in the UK as of last night) to celebrate the triple birthday of my dear friends Rose, Ellie and Glyn (a stupendous booze blogger) at the East Dulwich Tavern on Lordship Lane.
As well as carting around my own weight in costume bling, I’m wearing a fabby tiger print tee from Topshop – just a tenner in the sale – paired with cobalt blue jeans and amazing new shoes from Ecco that I’ll tell you more about soon.

I wouldn’t normally go out in the evening wearing such a casual ensemble, but the Old Man’s band was playing, which always makes me want to project some kind of rock chick edge (pffffft), and originally I was going to dye my hair blue for the night. Readers, it looked crap, so there was an emergency rinse out and re-style; next time I’m buying a wig.
Anyway, it were a reet good night. Here’s how it panned out…
Scene of the crime; the East Dulwich Tavern, one of them Antic pubs with wonky lampshades and that
Rose and Ellie looking lovelier than ever on their shared birthday
The boys were there for a spot of rough-housing in the early part of the evening – all Antic pubs seem to be family-friendly
As per, The Lola Jones band was on hand to provide the soundtrack
As well as apple and pear cider on tap, this killer bottled cider was on the menu – 7.5%, sheesh!
Another birthday girl (Lel of the Story Frame Photography blog has hers today) showed off her spiffing Vivienne Westwood Anglomania “Melissa” shoes avec the tasty skull – serious shoe envy
Amazingly, Lel picked these up for under-£40 in the hervia.com January sale
And finally, together for the first time (and looking as blurry as we felt by that stage), I present the Lola Jones’ WAGs (and the contraband box of cherry juice from the shop across the road)
