2012 Chelsea Flower show fashion from Jianhui London

One of my fave ways to find out about designers and brands is from the peeps who read this blog. That’s excactly how I found out about the vibrant jewellery label Jianhui London

A reader suspected that the chunky floral necklace we’ve been looking for (as worn by Louise Thompson) was by London-based designer, Jianhui. Although Louise’s bling isn’t his work, I can see exactly why you might come to that conclusion. Jianhui’s fruity, floral designs are chunky, funky and as bright as accessories can possibly be.

Jianhui, who is originally from China, says that after moving here to study for an MBA he soon became “fascinated by the beauty [of London] and its people; seeing the juxtaposition of the bustles of the city with the beauty of its parks and green spaces.” And London is at the heart of his latest “Picnic” collection for SS12 which (serendipitously, given the timing of my making contact with him) is inspired by the Cheslea Flower Show, which starts tomorrow (May 22nd).

If you’re off to rub shoulders with the stars, and check out the blooms, may I suggest one of Jianhui’s Picnic pieces – guaranteed to make you look just as appealing as the horticulture.
