Pearl London high low mint lace dress – Jubilee perfection

I’ve got three (and counting) massive occasions to look forward to over the Jubilee weekend, and as my regular readers know, I’m already obsessing over what to wear…

Weirdly, after writing about Louise “Made in Chelsea” Thompson’s mint high low dress, I was Tweeted at by someone at Pearl London over the weekend (they were intrigued by my “polyester day dress”, and who can blame them?) When I investigated their wares – affordable, elegant dresses with a vintage-inspired touch that look that little bit different from high street buys – I came across this fantastical mint green, lace dress with an asymmetric hem and bags of pizzazz.

This could be the one for the Diamond Jubilee Festival; if you don’t know about this yet and you’re London-based, you should get your tix booked today. It’s £5 for adults, free for under-12s, there’s a vintage fashion fest taking place and a fabulous view of the Thames pageant is guaranteed.

It’s just two and a half weeks away, so I better get this dress ordered tout de suite and decide if I’m brave enough to wear my sky blue Kurt Geiger heels down the park…
