If I hadn't already organised my 50s-style outfit for today's Diamond Jubilee back garden party (not
that back garden) I would be tempted to ring two of my fellow party-goers and suggest we pull a Middleton; Kate, Pippa and their mum Carole rocked up to the river pageant yesterday in a well-coordinated fashion move wearing red (Kate), white (Carole) and blue (Pippa).
Much as I loved the crimson Alexander McQueen design worn by the Duchess of Cambridge, I was most fond of
Pippa's nautique nod in a navy and white get-up by Orla Kiely. And although Orla's gorgeous gear isn't cheap, you can certainly save up and achieve the same stunning vibe over the summer if you want to...

I loved loved loved Louise's burgundy blazer, and bullet style gold necklace when she was getting her hair done at Daniel Galvin LUSH!!!
Orla Kiely is my very fav designer and if I was just slightly rich I would buy homeware and fashion on a regular basis! I have a OK reversible leather bag which is now 7 years old and I still use it on a daily basis. I have a trench coat from the sale, and a couple of clothing items which I got in one of her rare warehouse sales - nothing ever dates. I wish she did shoes too....
