Topshop pink maxi dress – and a prom crisis
I have one of my lovely readers to thank for turning me on to this dress. She messaged me this week with an urgent prom query; she had two dresses and needed advice on which one to wear. In the end, I advised her on the short, flapper-style dress she’d bought from Next. It was fun and sassy and she already had accessories to match.
But I fell in love with her second dress, this stonking embroidered mesh maxi dress from Topshop. It wouldn’t have been as easy to dance in as the first dress, and – as I pointed out – it’s a dress other girls will love, not necessarily boys (it’s a good while since I was prom age, but I have a long memory).
I’m hoping she gets a chance to wear this one soon, at a wedding or garden party perhaps – and as it is a mere £50 in the sale, I’m sorely tempted myself….
