The Climate of Panic Tencel t-shirt by Rapanui

More Olympic action for me today down in Hyde Park. I’ll tell you all about that tomorrow – for now, let’s talk fashion because I busted out an interesting new slouch t-shirt from the new collection by Rapanui

Not only is the grey and silky “Climate of Panic” tee the must-have drape-shape for AW12/13 (oversized, batwinged and cropped), it’s also eco-friendly; it was made in a Fair Wear Foundation audited factory, transported by ship not air, hand-finished in the UK and printed on 100% Tencel – and that’s Eucalyptus Tencel.

Climate of Panic t-shirt, £24.95

According to Rapanui co-founder Mart Drake-Knight: “This fabric is derived from 100% FSC certified Eucalyptus trees and the fibre carries the Pan-European Forest Council (PEFC) quality seal. We’ve taken this amazing new eco textile and created some instant bold, fashionable styles that push the boundaries of eco fashion.”

Well, I’m a fan, that’s for sure.
