Manuela Dack SS13 fashion presentation for London Fashion Week

More gorgeous piccies straight off the catwalk for you, kids: This afternoon I was invited to the Manuela Dack fashion presentation at Freemason’s Hall, the London Fashion Week headquarters of Fashion Scout.

A small, simple and wearable SS13 collection, Dack’s floaty, feminine and ethereal pieces ooze class. The glitter-heeled jellybean sandals the models walked in were a sure sign of Dack’s ability to craft utterly girly style that is flattering and sexy – but cool and comfortable too. Mostly neutrals and pale pastels, the contrast comes through the cuts and fabrics, rather than the colour and would never overwhelm you.

In short, I love it. See if you do too…

Dack’s signature move is combining silk and leather
The effect of the plain tee with the fringed skirt is super-duper
The hem makes this look fly high
When colour came it was merely a whisper
My fave piece of the collection: I’ll be dreaming of this funkily fringed skirt forever
If you’ve got the shoulder blades for it, this silver, silk pantsuit is the bomb
Silver trousers! Fringed tee! Glitter jellybeans! Want, want, want
Oh, just gorgeous: The sheer, pleated underskirt is a beautiful contrast to the flocked dress
Sex (with a heavy metallic twist) in the city
Fashion savvy brides could certainly do a lot worse than dipping into this collection
The simplicity really packs a punch
The climax of a really special collection
We couldn’t resist taking some posey-pics in this grand venue
Believe it or not, I looked tame in comparison to the fashionistas lurking around Somerset House today: I’m wearing a Moschino Cheap and Chic jacket over a Peekaboo Vintage silk late-1970s dress
