Shock (sheer) horror: Kristen Stewart gets it WRONG

I’m not one for slagging off other women’s sartorial choices – I like to think I’m the Man vs Food of style (Woman vs Fashion?), enthusiastic and positive to the last.

But the sheer Zuhair Murad jumpsuit Kristen Stewart wore to the UK premier of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part II last night was just dreadful…

I have no issue with strategically placed nipple-modesty-protecting appliques (I did the same when I got married) but the shiny codpiece and the deeply unflattering bum patches – no thanks.

If any boy-readers out there think she looked hot, do let me know. Personally, I think there was far too much going on: ok, so the lace and triangular cut at the back were lovely, but the sequin legs look trunkish and itchy, the codpiece kept catching the light in a seriously non-sexy way and the delicate lace was dumbed down by the clumsy detailing. Gross, man. She looked better when she left the cinema in jeans and a “God Loves Ugly” jacket.

Take my advice (please) – if you want to do a sheer black jumpsuit, make it classy in a piece like Joseph’s super-sleek, sleeveless sheer lace bodice number. You really don’t have to rock ass pads to make a figure-flattering statement. Agreed?
