An M&S party dress to see me on my way

Well, do I look ready for the off? This afternoon I go off on my travels – first time I’ve been away for Christmas and I must say that I’m quite looking forward to it (now I’ve packed my case and finished Christmas shopping).

To really get things shaking, I’ve just been for a lovely festive lunch with some good mates – and the multi-purpose, pre-Christmas purchase from M&S I’m wearing has been on its maiden voyage…

This dress first caught my attention on a poster in the Oxford Street branch – and it’s the ultimate in versatile party wear: totally comfy and funky, but very easily dressed-up to the max.

I’ve gone for the middle ground today, to suit the mild-to-moderately casual occasion, with grey tights, gold heels and bright orange nails, but over the next week I intend to give it another couple of airings, styled different ways to suit the occasion.

Watch this space for the results. And in the meantime, if you want to give this party-perfect piece a test drive for yourself, it’s from the Limited Collection and you’ll need to check in-store to get your hands on one. Or, have a peep at the panel skirt version which is available online – equally versatile for all your Christmas occasion needs.

The blog will be updating while I’m away by the way – just blame modern magic.

I’m going to get so much mileage out of this dress…wonder if it’ll work in Tenerife?
