Big fat meals and fitted dresses

I’m all red! And wearing my grown-up dress from H&M.

Possibly not the most sensible attire when I was about to stuff my face with four courses at The County Arms – but day-to-night wise, this frock works a treat.

The food at The County just gets better and better. If you’re down there, you must try the parsnip and apple soup (with parsnip crisps) from the festive menu, the Barnsley lamb chop gets an enthusiastic thumbs-up from my Yorkshire rellies (and they are tough customers), I could have died for the pork T-bone and the salted caramel ice cream (served this evening with the sticky toffee banana pudding) was so delish I might have had a teeny tiny food-orgasm.

And on that note, I’ll bid you goodnight.
