Fashion Detective in Living South Magazine, March

At the beginning of February, I was dashing around trying to style a suitably spring outfit for a magazine shoot. I was reet excited this morning to see the results: if you’re a South London dweller you’ll spot me in the March issue of Living South Magazine (or you can browse the digital edition wherever you are).

There I am, being all bright and that (Living South, March 2013)

It was a fun shoot, and it only took about 20 minutes (which was most welcome in the shiver-some conditions). Thought I’d share a couple more “behind the scenes” pics we took on the day and give you the lowdown on my outfit…

Getting my directions from the team at Shot by the Sheriff photography in East Dulwich

We took most of the pics at New Cross Road street market – you can imagine the looks I got trotting around in that get-up in sub-zero temperatures, surrounded by fur coats and wooly hats

Grabbing a quick Instagram moment: I’m wearing a tile print high neck dress in yellow (Topshop, £75) with a floral print blazer I picked up at Vero Moda on Oxford Street (Only, approx £50)

And when I posted my Instagram preview there were lots of comments about those shoes – they’re by Kurt Geiger and sadly they’re past season (but the Candy style in a similar shade are on sale right now for £85)
