Ah, Leeds. Such an excellent city to shop in. Naturally, I'm drawn to the smörgåsbord of vintage opportunities, but I also managed to fall in love with an AMAZING Moschino Cheap and Chic macramé dress and jacket (look up and weep) that I am now so obsessed with, I might have to indulge (see below for the damage). Can you imagine? My bank account can't.
Before I decided spend a small fortune, I focused my attention on two fabby vintage boutiques. Mad Elizabeth
you've seen here on Fashion Detective before - and it is still full of funky separates and brill accessories for men and women.
And across the circular hall, a new vintage emporium has just opened:
Alice Found Treasure. The two stores complement each other perfectly. Shop with Mad 'Liz for funky fur jackets, 80s graphic jumpers, cute floral mini skirts and colour pop digital watches, then head to Alice for girly dresses with 50s through to 80s chic, feminine accessories and tea party-perfect homewares: I found the ultimate Molly Ringwald dress and couldn't get to the till fast enough. Watch this space for evidence.
In the meantime, these piccies might encourage you to book your next shopping trip in lovely Leeds...
