Nominate me for the BiB Awards 2013?
Oh, kids – could you ever forgive me if I asked you for some more help?
I received an email yesterday urging me to nominate Fashion Detective for the Brilliance in Blogging Awards 2013. It’s another fabulous platform to celebrate the best of British parent blogging and here’s what the organisers have to say about the Style Category:
“This is for all you fashion and beauty lovers. To paraphrase Coco Chanel, a fashion blogger’s site should be two things: classy and fabulous. Bloggers in this category have both. Being a parent adds an interesting dimension to fashion and beauty coverage – combining a world view with a catwalk view.”
I think Fashion Detective would fit in there just fine, don’t you?
This award scheme works slightly differently to the MADs as the winner is ultimately chosen by a judge, but you can make it through to the shortlist stages with a little (read: a lot of) help from your friends. Which is where you guys come in, natch.
The nominations form requires a few minutes of your precious time – but to make life easier, here’s the info you need if you want to nominate me in the Style Category:
Blog Name: Fashion Detective
Blog URL: http://www.fashiondetective.co.uk/
Blogger’s Twitter ID: @jopayton
Blogger’s email (if known): jo[at]johannapayton.co.uk
Why do you feel this blogger deserves to win the Style award? [I’ll leave that bit up to you!]
URL of your favourite post from this blog: I chose one that I’m dead fond of and that mashes up my fashion obsession, my love of travel, a little bit of food, fruit machines (!) and – of course – that boy of mine.
Nominations close on April 12th and taking the time to fill in another form, and bigging-me-up yet again, would be amazingly generous – thank you x
