BiB awards: style shortlist 2013

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: being a parent and a fashion writer/blogger may be a challenge, but the perks are flippin’ awesome.

Wedging my way onto the Style category shortlist of the BritMums Brilliance in Blogging Awards (BiBs) is the latest coup – and I must extend a huge thank you to every single Fashion Detective reader who took time out to vote for me.

You are all shiny stars.

But of course, I now need to ask for your help (yet) again (sorreeeeee!)

Voting for the winner is now open and it would be absolutely beyond awesome-sauce if you were able to show your appreciation for this little ol’ weblog by casting your vote here.

It only takes a couple of minutes and as far as I can tell you can vote in as many (or as few) categories as you wish.

If you need some inspiration for the other categories, may I suggest Story Frame Photography for the best photo blog award, Mummy Travels for the travel category, and The Kraken Wakes in the LOLz section.

Yeah, they are all my mates – but also brilliant bloggers (and imagine the extreme fun and photo-evidenced frolics we would have if we all made it to the finals…)

And, in the words of Gavroche (!), this is a “something for me, something for you” situation – I’m going to announce a brill-skillz competition exclusive to Fashion Detective this aft, so one of you can be a winner, whatever happens to me in the awards whirlwind this year.
