Downton Abbey inspired green shoes by Miss L Fire
Green shoes: cannot resist them. I’ve been wearing a pair of pistachio heeled brogues from Office for about three years, but I need to upgrade….these babies might be the answer.
They are the emerald green Empire style by Miss L Fire, and they are all kinds of awesome.
As per all my shoes, they have a vintage look: 20s-inspired, they are very Downton Abbey (which doesn’t mean much to me as I don’t watch that show, but hey – I do love 20s shoes). The 20s shape and low heel, with contemporary details, makes them ripe for mixing and matching with different trends and eras, to create a thoroughly unique look.
I’ve gone for something typically eye catching here…
You know me and colour: to help the shoes shine I’ve picked a khaki cropped tee (Topshop) with a pleated gold skirt (Miss Selfridge), ochre tights and my absolute fave jacket of the moment – a silk embroidered bomber (eBay)
These shoes are just so glam – and yet you can style them with everyday outfits, like I have
All Miss L Fire branded products are limited edition – and it’s the detail on these gorgeous shoes that really makes them standout from the crowd
|I love the heel detail most of all – the flamboyant touch makes them perfect for styling with statement pieces (or stick on a 20s-inspired flapper dress and go for all out roaring 20s glamour).
They’ll set you back £99.99
I have to show you the back of the jacket: I saw a woman wearing a similar one in Soho over the summer and made it my mission in life to track one down. Sooooo glad I did.
