Sixties Sunday – navy meets mustard

We’ve been grabbing some pics today for the fabled new-look blog banner. Obviously I went all-out sixties – and that leads me nicely to Sixties Sunday…

So for this week, and for the shoot, I wanted an unmistakable 60s vibe. Funnily enough, it’s not actually a dress from the 60s.

It’s a dress by Miss Patina, the label I told you about last week. I picked it up last year and it’s the perfect frock for everyday wear.

Today I styled it with mustard tights from H&M, navy brogues by Clarks, a cute head piece by Topshop and – the only vintage piece in the ensemble – a 1960s faux fur jacket I picked up in a flea market.

Mustard and navy is one of my fave colour combinations

There’s a little touch of sparkle in the dress – works really well with the hi-shine shoes
