Sixites Easter Sunday – 60s staples
Easter Sunday: a time of chocolate eggs eaten long ago (wooops) and forgetting that the shops are shut and having nothing in the house to eat.
It’s also a weekend for time off and family, so let’s keep this brief.
Big British holidays call for classic outfits if you’re into midcentury fashion, and I kept this week’s Sixties Sunday very simple: mustard retro roll neck tank top from Joy, 60s style brocade mini from M&S, knit tights from H&M and vintage 1960s Mary Jane shoes from eBay.
And of course the pooch: the doggy I’m with is a little guest who comes to stay with us from time to time when her owners go away. Her name is Starsky and she is a totally gorgeous Lhasa Apso. As far as Easter treats go, taking her out for a long walk this afternoon (not in my vintage shoes) will be the highlight.
