Sixties interior design, Amsterdam style

Hotel de Hallen - interior - Amsterdam - Johanna Payton

While I was in Amsterdam I was absolutely drooling over the interior design.

The city is a mid-century Mecca with 60s and 70s styling everywhere you look. Scandinavian influences are obvious, but the Dutch do their own fabulous line in Atomic chic and I wanted to share some inspiring pics with you – particularly as I’m about to start work on my mid-century inspired kitchen and dining room (two weeks to go until the builders rock up!)

These photos were taken in two gorgeous hotels – Volkshotel and Hotel de Hallen, both featured in my review on Feet on the Ground.

If this doesn’t get your mod juices flowing, nothing will…
