Sixties Sunday: House of Florrie watch

You know, I’m not really one for accessories, but now and again something is just so cute and 60s-tastic that I have to snap it up.
There’s a new British watch brand in town called House of Florrie. It launched in July this year and the watches are deliciously vintage-inspired and totally feminine.
I’m in love with the watch I’m wearing for this week’s Sixties Sunday: it’s the pearl slim leather strap watch in pale blue. Adding to the retro chic it’s got a beautiful rose gold satin finish and – the best bit – it has a matching blue mother of pearl sub second dial. At £95, it’s keenly priced as a little autumnal treat and the pastel shade will pick-up your winter wardrobe.
A watch this girly calls for “ultra-chick” (and chic) sixties styling. I’m wearing a mini dress by one of my fave vintage-inspired brands – Miss Patina – with obligatory white tights and sandals from KG Kurt Geiger: the sandals are more seventies, really, but I’m just loving them at the moment as they work well – and look a tad more sixties – with tights.
Sunglasses are ASOS. I found them on the floor last week. Fashion serendipity.
It may be Indian summer weekend, but I’m well up for rocking pastels into the autumn – and, if there are more goodies like the watch out there, a few more 60s accessories too.
