1960s inspired spring outfits

I’ve talked about the vintage inspired label Miss Patina loads on the blog. Here’s a new piece I picked up that is perfect for the late winter/early spring transition, and is the foundation of my second 60s-influenced spring look.

Checked, knee length, ultra-comfortable and very mod, it goes with just about anything (if you’re willing – like me – to do some clashing).

If you follow my Instagram you might already recognise it, but it’s a purchase I picked up at Topshop Oxford Circus (where Miss Patina has a concession) in January 2016.

If you can’t get down to central London, you can order the skirt online – and if co-ords are your thing, there’s a mustard tartan jumper to match.

I’m wearing my skirt with an Orla Kiely at Uniqlo roll neck, well-worn teal tights (love mustard and teal) and vintage 1960s shoes; but mix up this sixties staple with pretty blouses, crop jumpers, funky tees and short-sleeved shirts.
