60s spring layers

Now here’s a look: I love this, but wouldn’t expect everyone else to. It’s a tad out there, but – in the spirit of 1960s fashion – it’s on the right side of experimental and will certainly turn heads.
Layering a classic 60s party dress is a good way to get some wear out of it in the spring.
I’ve chosen a statement pastel paisley mini I found on eBay – one of my fave purchases, as it goes. With gold thread and a touch of glitz, I’ve worn this dress at summer parties (with bare legs and pastel heels) and in the winter over a black polo with dark tights and black patent Mary Janes.
For spring, I’m wearing it with a contrast paisley tee (Topshop, past season), purple tights and nude heels by Jones the Bootmaker. A jazzy pink finger ring seals the deal.
Look out spring parties: this is perfect.
