Once again, Caggie Dunlop stormed it in the style stakes on last night’s Made in Chelsea. When she wasn’t accusing the boys of treating the women like cattle (fair point), she was relaxing with Mr. Proudlock in a gorgeous combination of printed wrap-style top and floral printed harem pants.

Wine and harem pants – good mix |
As we’ve already learned, much of the Made in Chelsea fashion is past season (Caggie’s lush knitted cardi with a faux fur collar, as worn when she went to meet Rosie for tea, was bought over a year ago from Zara, for example). Caggie’s top and trousers were bought from a market in France, so it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to find the exact same designs. BUT, don’t panic – here’s how to get her luxury lounge look right now, autumn/winter stylee…
My first choice is a less dramatic take on the look, but beautiful (and wearable) all the same. It’s Mint Velvet’s sheen wrap top with Yumi’s printed harem trousers:
 |
Mint Velvet, £55 |
 |
Yumi, £21.60 |
Then there’s Beyond the Valley’s beautiful silk kimono, which you could bravely team with French Connection’s harem trousers:
 |
Beyond the Valley, £96 |
 |
French Connection, £35 |
Or try Hobbs’ Roxburgh wrap top with River Island’s floral print palazzo pants:
 |
Hobbs, £79 |
 |
River Island, £35 |
Or just go proper ker-azee (you’d have to be) with Malene Birger’s delicious “Caviar” wrap-over blouse and Boohoo’s brushstroke harem trousers:
 |
Malene Birger, £162 |
 |
Boohoo, £8 |

Hi Ms Detective,
Can you find out where the Little Black Dress that Caggie wore at her gig on Monday nights show was from? Really loved it and want one desperately.
Help
Ax
Hiya A (I like the Ms. Detective – makes me sound like a really stern teacher!. Someone else has already asked about this dress and I have dropped my Caggie contact a line to ask. Soon as he gets back to me I will provide you with the deets.
J xx
Genius!! Thank you lots Ms Detective. 😉 Ax
I loved that outfit.
I thought you might, missus!

Any news on the LBD? Ax
Hello Ms Fashion Detective,
This is the best website ever I have to say! As a huge made in chelsea fan mainly because of style inspiration from Caggie, it’s so great to find out where you can steal her style!
I absolutely loved her black dress she wore to her gig Monday night. Any idea where I could get something similar?
Plus almost every episode Caggie wears a stunning camel coat, it has a deep v shape at the front, one button I think, and a high collar. Any ideas on this one also?
Love your work! 🙂 Jx
Hi, I desperately want Caggie Dunlop’s camel coat too! It’s from last Monday’s episode. Have googled it and even looked on shopstyle.co.uk but can’t find it – I even considered tweeting to Caggie Dunlop herself! Please help. P.s. love your blog!
Ohh if you could find out where Caggie’S camel coat is from I would be eternally grateful!!
Yes please I absolutely love the look of that Camel coat that Caggie wears and also wore in yesterdays episode!
~Please find out 🙂
Hi ladies. Glad you like the blog and will do my bestest to find out about the coat. I haven’t heard from Caggie’s people for a few days and am still waiting to find out about the double strap dress she wore at the gig, but I’m just about to watch last night’s ep and will see if I recognise the coat – some of her stuff is high street, although it is mostly past season. If I can’t find it I’ll do y’all a post with some v v similar styles – promise! xx P.S. Tweeting Caggie directly is a good idea – she sometimes replies to peeps to tell them where her clothes are from…
Ladies – a post on the camel coats for you:
http://www.fashiondetective.co.uk/2011/10/caggie-dunlops-camel-coats-on-made-in.html
Caggie’s manager does read this blog (yay!) and often emails me with deets of stuff I’ve blogged about, so fingers crossed he might tell us exactly where the coats are from … but, as per the new post, I suspect the first one (without fur) is past season and the fur one looks like it may be vintage. Hopefully the matches I’ve found will tickle yer’ fancies!
Can anyone help me locate the long knitted coat caggie wore, the one with the big fur collar and sort of native indian design? My wife has looked everywhere for it and cant find any reference.
Thanks
John
Hello John – the cardie is from Zara but it’s past season I’m afraid. Best thing to do is to contact Zara and ask if it’s likely to come back into stock. I did come up with some alternatives – am about to zoom off to do some filming today, but when I’m back at my desk I’ll dig out the post. J x
Thanks so much! For your reply, I want to get one for my wife she would be over the moon.
John
