Amber Le Bon models for Vanessa G – in Richmond Park

I do love Richmond Park – it’s one of my fave places in London. So what a treat to see the stunning Amber Le Bon chipping around the trees wearing some gob-smackingly gorgeous garms by Vanessa G…

Vanessa Gounden’s spring/summer 2012 collection lives up to her creative philosophy on “wearable art”, with each piece featuring original artwork or photography, reworked through hand painting, appliqué, embellishing and 3D details in the texture of the clothes.

The SS12 Vanessa G range includes three individual capsule collections: Renewal (exploring how discarded, wasted everyday items can be redesigned into beautiful works of art – plastic and metal waste is seen in the prints), Framed Vintage (celebrating the classic splendour of the Belle Époque and Edwardian era) and Ethnic Dazzle (layers of colour, paint techniques, photographs and prints used to create conceptual and almost 3D design), all showcasing Vanessa G’s signature style.

Miss Le Bon certainly makes them fly (just hope Benton/Fenton didn’t make an appearance during the shoot…pffffft).

Is this midi dress to die for or what?
I’ll dream about this dress tonight; the shape, the print, even the belt – everything is perfect. Vanessa G’s prices start at around the £600 mark for dresses.
The vivid mix of purple and pastels in this two piece is so on-trend for SS12 it actually hurts
With a nod to Afrocentric trends, the cut and texture of this fitted dress – perfect for high summer – is truly unique
I thought jumpsuits might be on the way out – judging by this beauty, they are hotter than ever before
This printed trench is the right side of quirky for me
