A vintage dress, a Sunday roast and my new obsession, Pinterest
Happy Mother’s Day food lovers.
With the man of the house away on a stag weekend in Hamburg (Hamburg!), Saturday and Mothering Sunday have been most self-indulgent….
I finally had time to sort out my Pinterest account and became instantly obsessed. After a few glasses of fizz last night I sat up until the early hours pinning sexy photos of my fave film and music stars; a new social media tool to embarrass yourself with whilst tipsy. Brilliant.
Of the eight boards I’ve set up, my two faves photo-wise are the food and “Vivacious Vintage” boards. No surprise then that I dashed out on a charity shop hunt yesterday and bought a shiny new/old kimono-esque dress from Fara in Balham for £9 that works a treat with the funky cameo I bought in Liverpool.
I love the waist and the sleeves as well as the print – and it’s v silky
At £9 I don’t even have to feel guilty about this vintage Mother’s day treat – El’s behind the camera on these shots
I loved this unusual cameo couple as soon as I saw them
And in the name of my food photography, I just had to stuff my face with a Mother’s Day roast at The Windmill on Clapham Common this afternoon. Yum. Yum.

Now that is what I call a Sunday dinner
In my family, you have to be bloody quick to get a good photo of dessert before it is decimated: Uncle GB’s lemon tart with raspberry sauce looked divine

That’s ma’ boy
My final Mother’s Day treat is being allowed to watch Breaking Dawn Part 1 (and no, I might never make El wash the chocolate ice cream off his boat race)
