Crawling the pubs of London – just for JDRF

Way back in May which, at the time, felt like the start of the summer, you might remember me telling you about three hardy mates who swam miles in the Thames for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Lily (12), beautiful friend and number one model on this blog, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes three years ago and whenever we can, her friends and family do something for the charity that has supported Lils and her family and works tirelessly to find a cure…

In the spirit of the amazeballs sporting summer we’ve had, and with a nod to our deep personal and professional links to the public houses of London, we are doing our own walk for charity on Saturday to raise funds for JDRF.

I’ll be live blogging the event as we go from pub to pub (and struggling to find something comfy and fashionable to wear for the six mile hike along the river), and if you feel the need to chip in a quid or two in support of our endeavour well, that would be the nuts.

The Just Giving page is right here, we have expert consumer of booze and top ale blogger Rabid About Beer on the team, and feast your eyes upon our fabulous itinerary. Lily’s mum, Rose, another regular on Fashion Detective, did all the drawings herself; a mum’s love knows no bounds….
