Get scary: hot tops for Halloween
No, I’m not going to an early Halloween party this eve; even scarier than that, I’m off to see Grease at Wimbledon Theatre. Then, I’m dashing into town to celebrate the 40th birthday of one of my BFFs. There is nothing more frightening than a milestone birthday – especially when your own is just around the corner.
Apt then, that frightening fashion is all over the rails, and for this evening’s random merriment I’m wearing a sleeveless green and black “Metallica” tee by And Finally at Topshop that I picked up in the sale for a tenner.
If you’re up for finding a Gothic top to wear over the next fortnight (there is no spookier time) may I suggest one of the following…
Sick Girl tee @ Urban Outfitters, £35 – keep it all-black before adding layered silver crosses, ear cuffs and bangles: classic Halloween chic
Red devore chiffon vest @ Miss Selfridge, £26 – wear with black skinny jeans and jet black biker boots for Halloween cool
White vampire print tee @ New Look, £12.99 – vamp it up with a pencil skirt, blazer and heels
Skull vest in wine @ boohoo.com, £12 – simple and sexy with pu leggings and heels
Horror tee @ Topshop, £18 – try with white jeans and monochrome baseball boots
Web tee @ All Saints, £45 – begging to be worn with leather or sequin leggings and heavily–buckled heeled boots
Day of the dead sweatshirt @ French Connection, £67 – keep this one casual with indigo skinny jeans and hi tops
