Made in Chelsea fashion: Christmas special (aka finale)

Finally! Now I’m back home (and avoiding leaving the house because I got into summer mode in Tenerife and can’t get out of it), I’ve caught up with the final episode, shown on Christmas Eve, of Made in Chelsea.

Ah, what a conclusion to the best series so far. Proudlock and Jamie got scorched by a bird, Sophia got her hands on Boulle’s bear, Millie’s nose got bitten, Fredrik (yay!) gave us goosebumps, Spenny and Jamie had a milisecond under the mistletoe (woop woop), Mark Francis reminded us that a) red and black can look “promiscuous” and b) it’s not “festive” it’s “fastive”, Boulle actually pulled off a smooth move – and dropped the biggest bombshell of the series and we all had to rack our brains to remember who Funda is (I found myself in a sauna with her once *FACT*).

So just ahead of the dawn of 2013 (it doesn’t have a good ring to it, does it?) here’s my final Made in Chelsea fashion round-up of the year…

Assured that reindeers are not in fact “mythical ceatures”, Binky makes winter look appealing in oversized knitted cuffs and a gorgeous black fedora hat with a cute feather – pick up a similar style by Bailey of Hollywood at Zalando

This is such a classic Millie look (before surprise guest Herby slobbered all over it): she wore black leather skinnies and a black fur snood with this gorgeous black and green tweed jacket. And there’s a very similar style from Butterfly by Matthew Williamson @ Debenhams on sale for just £32.50

Sometimes simple does the trick and Sophia Sassoon looked great in this black fur hat. You could go for full-on Russian-style volume with a Pile Poil design – or try a slightly more subtle Cossack style by Pilot

Dress of the season. Without a doubt. I’m determined to find out where Millie’s formidable frock is from (anyone know?) – but in the meantime, check out this gorgeous (and affordable) deep green sequin dress from missguided

Poor Louise – but if you’re going to get bad news it might as well be while you’re looking hot. Steal her style this very New Year’s Eve with a simple nude pleated dress by NW3 @ John Lewis and a silver sequin jacket from Miss Selfridge
