Cardigan crisis: SS14 edit
Spring is a time of year when cardigans come into their own – especially in the UK where we are currently lurching from balmy to brrrrrr.
I have so many dresses, but a distinct lack of cute cardis to pop over the top.
The cardis I do have always look too big and baggy, even though I do try to buy the right size. What I really need – particularly given my wardrobe of colourful vintage frocks – are wee cropped or close-fitting cardis that sit snugly, keeping out the spring chills (reasonably well) but showing off the shape of the dress underneath, rather than burying me. Something like the lace panel front one above from French Connection.
I’m off for a vintage rummage tomorrow, but should that fail there are a couple more high street options I might consider…
