60s style orange dress by Georgia King
My 60s devotion continues apace – but this weekend I am *not* wearing vintage. I know, right.
This splendid 60s-inspired number, absolutely on the money for autumn, is brand new…
I’m wearing the Julie dress by Georgia King London.
The Georgia King brand is run by a mother-daughter duo with an ethos to “provide women with a signature style and tailored edge that oozes natural confidence and sexy femininity”.
I can dig that.
With a tulip shape, and cinched at the waist, the soft cotton weave Julie dress from the label is steeped in 60s glam – complete with pleats and darts.
|Did I hear someone say that redheads can’t wear orange? WRONG.|
Me being me, I went for a colour clash with teal tights, using black boots to echo the detailing on the dress. But if you want your look to be less Cilla and more Audrey Hepburn, consider the Janina dress in cream and black.
Either way, add colour tights and ballet pumps or ankle boots for daytime chic – heeled pumps and sheer tights will turn this mini dress into a evening hit.
